Okay, okay, so I’m not going to go the no care route, but right now I feel like my life is overrun with the constant question of what to do with my delinquent 3 year old. I’m so exhausted and stressed out.
Next week, we are sending him to a part time spring break camp at a daycare that we want to send him to, but I’m so worried that he will act out. The last one didn’t last a week and when we went to tour this one, he tried to run away. I mean, my kid has been in daycare since he was 4 months old. I just don’t know what to do!!
Right now, our plan is to send him to camp for 5 hours a day and see how he does. If it goes well, we will enroll him and pray pray pray that he does well there. As a back up, we are looking at a nanny (but he needs preschool because he’s almost 4!) and I have no idea how to approach it all! What’s the going rate? Do I include the overhead of preschool? Who do I trust? How do I pick??? AHH. I’m so overwhelmed! Although, I do like the idea that some are willing to do light cleaning, laundry and meal prep 😉 (#livingthehighlife #foraprice).
Does anyone have experience with nannies versus daycare? Nannies plus part-time care? How will this affect us come Kinder? HELP!
